Here we are

So now I've created this blog, which links to class blogs, which may link to other blogs, which may link to other blogs, etc. That's the way journalism works in our digital world. We are not creating in a vacuum, but rather as part of the vast interconnected digital world that is media and the Internet.

As I said, I'll post here occasionally, but mainly I'll use this site to link to your blogs, which I am enjoying reading. Some already have posts, and I urge you to regularly look at what your classmates as saying about journalism, writing, the Internet and our class. It's interesting so far, and, as the saying goes, "we ain't seen nothing yet." (By the way, don't use "ain't" or "seen nothing" in your writing unless you can justify its use.)
